Privacy Policy

Effective 24 August 2026

This policy explains what ARC Joint LLC (“ARC Joint”, “we”) collects when you use arcjoint.com, why we collect it, and who receives it.

What ARC Joint is

ARC Joint is not a healthcare provider. We do not diagnose, treat, or provide medical advice. We connect people with independent physician practices. Using this site does not create a doctor–patient relationship with ARC Joint.

What we collect

If you complete our knee assessment, we collect:

  • Contact details — first and last name, and a phone number. Collected on the final step, only if you choose to submit. We do not ask for an email address.
  • Your ZIP code, used to find the nearest participating office. We look it up in a ZIP code table we hold ourselves, from GeoNames (CC BY 4.0). Your ZIP is not sent to them, and we do not use your device’s location.
  • Your answers about your knee — whether a doctor has told you it is arthritis, and which treatments you have already tried. After you submit, we may also ask how long you have had pain, how severe it is, and your age range.
  • A record of your consent — the exact disclosure shown to you, its version, the time, your IP address and your browser’s user agent.
  • How you reached us — advertising click identifiers (including Meta’s fbclid, fbc and fbp), campaign parameters, and the page that referred you.

We do not ask for your date of birth, Social Security number, medical records, or payment information anywhere on this site.

If you replied to one of our ads on Facebook or Instagram, you may have given your name, phone number and ZIP code to a form inside that app instead of on this site. Meta passes those answers to us, together with which ad you replied to. Once we receive them, they are handled exactly as described here, and Meta’s own privacy policy governs what happens inside their app.

If you browse without submitting, we still receive standard analytics described under Third parties on this site below.

Why we collect it

  • To identify the participating office nearest to you and route your request there.
  • To pass your request to that office so they can contact you.
  • To contact you ourselves about your request, by phone, text and email.
  • To measure which advertising produces requests, so we can spend sensibly.
  • To keep a record of what you agreed to and when.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with anyone for their own independent marketing.

Who receives it

The participating office we match you with

When you submit a request, we send your contact details and your answers to the independent physician practice nearest you so they can call you. That practice is not owned or controlled by ARC Joint, and once your information reaches them, their own privacy practices govern how they use it. We tell you which office it went to on the screen you see after submitting.

Service providers acting on our instructions

  • Supabase — database hosting
  • Vercel — website hosting and traffic analytics
  • GoHighLevel — our system of record for the calls and messages we exchange with you
  • Resend — sends the email that hands your request to the office
  • CARTO — supplies the map tiles on our locations page, and therefore receives your IP address when a map loads

Meta, for advertising measurement

When you submit a request, we tell Meta that a lead occurred, so we can measure which ads work. That message contains:

  • a scrambled (hashed) version of your phone number and ZIP code — scrambled so Meta can match you to an account they already have without us handing them the plain values
  • your IP address and browser user agent, which are not scrambled
  • Meta’s own advertising cookies, if their pixel set any in your browser
  • the address of the page you submitted from, and a generic event name

We do not send Meta your answers, your assessment result, the office you were matched with, or any description of your condition.

Third parties on this site

These load on pages you visit, whether or not you submit anything:

  • Meta Pixel — measures advertising and builds audiences for Meta ads
  • Vercel Web Analytics — counts visits and page views; first-party and does not track you across other sites
  • CARTO map tiles — loaded only on pages showing a map
  • GoHighLevel chat widget, where present — anything you type into it is received by us

You can block these with browser settings or an ad blocker. Doing so does not affect your ability to use the site or submit a request.

How long we keep it

We keep what you send us for as long as we are working with the practices in the network, so the office can follow up with you and so we can show what you agreed to and when.

We do not run a fixed deletion schedule, and we would rather say so than quote a number we do not keep to. If you want your details removed, ask us and we will remove them — see Your choices below.

The office we matched you with keeps its own copy under its own practices. We cannot delete their records on your behalf.

Your choices

You can ask us to:

  • Tell you what information we hold about you.
  • Correct it if it is wrong.
  • Delete it.
  • Stop contacting you — by phone, text, email, or all three.

Email support@fhpconnect.com to ask for any of these. To stop texts, reply STOP to any message. To stop emails, use the unsubscribe link in any email.

Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under state law, including the right not to be discriminated against for exercising them. The same address handles those requests.

How we protect it

Access to our database is restricted to authorised ARC Joint personnel and to the matched office, which sees only the requests routed to it. Information is encrypted in transit and at rest by our hosting providers, and we record who views each request.

No system is perfectly secure, and we do not claim otherwise. If a breach affects your information, we will notify you as required by law.

Children

This site is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has submitted information, email us and we will delete it.

Changes

If we change how we handle your information, we will update this page and change the effective date above. Material changes will be described here rather than made quietly.
